If I manage just one of these gems of advice… I think it would be to stop re-editing that first paragraph! (I thought NaNoWriMo might have cured me of this! Not quite.) Thank you.
Thanks Sue for taking the trouble to say so. Penny, yes, it’s tricky this. I don’t know why I find it harder to write new words than edit old, but I do!
It is hard not to edit as you go along I find, but it’s such good advice not to do it.

Having spent four hours this morning trying to perfect the opening paragraph of my next story and then deleting the lot and finishing my writing session with a blank page I COMPLETELY agree that editing is best left until the very end. It’s just sooo hard to do! :o)xx
